    Sorry about all the spammers that have been popping up around here lately. To prevent this, I've disabled direct registration so that new accounts can only be set up by logging in with either a Facebook or Twitter account. Hopefully in the near future I will be able to get Google account logins working as well.

    Now I'm in the process of manually deleting the nearly 300 (!) spam accounts that bots set up while I wasn't looking! o.O

    Too bad there's no way to just query the database based on timestamp and delete the results. Ah well. It is always safer to work through the GUI if you're not intimately familiar with the code.

    Yeah, it's a pain. But only one new spam sign up since making the registration change!
